Behind the Scenes of Our Chinatown 2025 Photoshoot

We are thrilled to share the outdoor images captured by our incredibly talented photographer, Daniel, and beautiful model, Moco. Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at a jewellery photoshoot?

Planning Mode 
Every successful photoshoot begins with a solid concept. Once our initial jewellery samples are ready, our creative marketing team collaborates with our photographer to create a moodboard, scout locations, book a model and assemble the team for the shoot. One of the biggest hurdles in planning an outdoor shoot is dealing with unpredictable weather but luckily this didn't hamper our day!

The Finer Details 
Chinatown’s colourful streets and rich cultural heritage made for the perfect backdrop. The bold architectural details, neon signs and bustling energy provided a striking contrast to the soft elegance of our pieces. Our model, Moco, chose to pair our handcrafted jewellery with her grandmother’s cherished Qipao - a traditional Chinese dress crafted from silk damask. Moco’s grandmother first wore this Qipao in her 20s, and now, at 85, she has passed it down to Moco. Traditionally worn for formal occasions, this silk damask Qipao has been a treasured family heirloom for generations. We think this look beautifully captures the harmony between modern luxury and timeless tradition.

The Day of the Shoot 
The day kicks off bright and early at Chinatown in Central London. After our stunning model, Moco completes her hair and makeup, she gets dressed and showcases our jewellery. With Daniel behind the lens, we move swiftly through our planned shots. We make quick jewellery changes throughout the day and transition between spots within this lively part of London. Plenty of coffee and snacks keep our energy high during these bustling shoot days! 

That's a Wrap! 
When the camera stops rolling, we select the best images from the day. With so many great shots to choose from, we focus on those that best highlight the beauty of our jewellery for our cherished customers. This incredible photoshoot wouldn't be possible without our fantastic team, and we hope you love wearing our jewellery as much as we enjoyed creating them for you.
